With a high smoke point, ghee is a great cooking butter over high heat, including sautéing, frying, roasting and baking. Substitute ghee for oil or organic butter in your favorite recipes, spread it on bread, drizzle it over popcorn, or try adding it to your morning coffee. We slowly simmer our ghee butter to coax the excess water out while preserving the nutritional benefits of pasture raised butter. In the process, some of the ghee’s milk solids caramelize, leaving behind hints of sweetness and roasted nuts. Organic Valley ghee comes in a resealable, shelf stable container for easy storage.
