Description
Lixit 32oz water bottles are the perfect size for rabbits, ferrets and other small animals. Cats too!! Our 32oz Clear bottles are transparent so you can easily see the water level. Lixit water bottles operate with a vacuum valve. Small drips when you install the bottle are normal as your water bottle forms a new Vacuum seal. In order for a vacuum to form within the sealed water bottle, the air space and water volume need to equalize. This little release of water is the after effect of this equalization as the pressure stabilizes, and is perfectly normal. To help the vacuum-seal establish when the water bottle is first filled and mounted, tap the ball bearing several times with your fingertip. This releases small amounts of water and speeds up the equalization of the vacuum pressure. Make sure you fill the water bottle all the way to the top and screw the cap on tight. Lixit tubes are made of quality American stainless steel. Our tubes are cut, finished and coned to perfection in our US factory. We ensure that the tips of our tubes are never sharp and won’t harm your pet. Our Lixit Clear bottles are BPA free and proudly made in the USA.
- THE PERFECT SIZE: The 32oz bottle is designed for Rabbits, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs and other small animals. The bottle is weather resistant and can be used in outdoor environments. Not all small animals need the same amount of water. For the 32oz we use a 7/16-inch tube that is large enough to accommodate the water needs of the pets noted above.
- VACUUM SEAL: Lixit bottles work by forming a vacuum to hold the water inside. It is important to fill the bottle all the way to the top and ensure the cap is on tight to prevent leaking. Some dripping when the bottle is first turned over is normal.
- QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL: Our tubes are made of the same 304 grade stainless steel in food preparation. We polish our tubes until they have the same satin finish that is found in quality silverware. Each tube is hand coned on the end to ensure that it has a smooth tip that will not harm your pet.
